Go to Settings → Cards to change your card back style and hand layout. Go to Settings → Table Theme to change the table skin, accent color, and light/dark mode.
You earn Rank Points (RP) by winning games. Harder AI difficulties award more RP. Your rank progresses from Bronze through Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Master tiers.
Joker Spades supports three variants: Standard (classic 52-card spades), JJA (Joker Joker Ace — jokers added as high trump), and JJDA (Joker Joker Deuce Ace — jokers added, 2♠ becomes third-highest trump).
Premium unlocks additional cosmetic content including extra table skins, card back designs, card face themes, and animation effects. Premium is cosmetic only — it does not affect gameplay or give any competitive advantage.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to your device's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Joker Spades → Cancel Subscription.
Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. Simply sign in with the same Apple ID on your new device and your premium access will be restored automatically.
You can sign up using your email address, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In. Creating an account enables online multiplayer, friend lists, tournaments, and leaderboards. You can also play as a guest without an account.
Once signed in, go to your profile to find your friend tag (e.g., Player#1234). Share your tag with friends so they can add you, or search for theirs. From the Friends screen you can send game invitations and see who's online.
If a player loses connection or quits, an AI bot will automatically take over their seat after 30 seconds. A "Bot" label will appear under their avatar so all players know it's now an AI replacement.
Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, game statistics, friend list, tournament entries, and authentication credentials from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try restarting your device or reinstalling the app. If you're still having trouble, email us at support@theshadowgrid.com with your device model and iOS version.
